The Cottage

Where we are

Bryn-y-Mor stands in a secluded position in a quarter of an acre of securely fenced ground on the cliffs above Newgale Sands and enjoys spectacular views over St. Brides Bay. Bryn-y-mor is surrounded by the beautiful Pembrokeshire National Park and the Coastal Path is just outside the garden gate!

The cottage is situated a quarter of a mile off the coast road, 7 miles from St. Davids to the north and 10 miles from Haverfordwest in the south. It sleeps ten, (one double bedded room, four twin bedded rooms plus two travel cots and 2 high chair). It is very suitable for family holidays. Well behaved dogs are welcome (two max!).

There are fine sandy beaches directly below the cottage reached by the cliff path from the garden. If you prefer to drive, Newgale Sands has a large car park, and there are a number of other beaches within easy reach by car. The cliff path stretches along the whole coast and is maintained by the National Parks of Wales as a conservation area, where there is ample scope for walking and bird and seal watching. The countryside around Newgale is also a wonderful bike riding area.

Accomodation

The accommodation is comfortably furnished and comprises five bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, and two further shower rooms, all with loos. A carpeted sitting room, with a wood-burning stove, leads onto a long verandah overlooking the sea providing sea-view dining and sitting areas.
